We stand behind our product. If you're not satisfied with Brutalytics for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment.

Important: Only your first payment when subscribing is eligible for refund. Renewal payments cannot be refunded.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Who Qualifies

Refunds are available for:

• Initial subscription payment only (first payment when you subscribe)
• Requests made within 14 days of that initial payment
• One refund per account (first-time refund requests only)

1.2 Who Doesn't Qualify

Refunds are not available for:

• Renewal payments (only the initial/first payment qualifies for refund)
• Accounts that have previously received a refund
• Requests made after 14 days from initial purchase
• Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations

2. How to Request a Refund

2.1 Contact Us

To request a refund, send an email to:

Include in your email:

• Your registered email address
• Date of purchase
• Reason for refund (optional, but helps us improve)

2.2 Processing Time

Refund requests are typically processed within:

• Response Time: 24-48 hours (business days)
• Refund Processing: 3-5 business days after approval
• Bank Processing: 5-10 business days depending on your bank

Total time from request to refund appearing in your account: typically 7-15 business days.

3. Refund Process

3.1 Verification

Once we receive your refund request, we will:

1. Verify your account and payment information
2. Confirm the request was made within 14 days
3. Check refund eligibility (first-time request, no ToS violations)
4. Send confirmation email with refund approval or denial

3.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase:

• Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the same card
• PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
• Other payment methods: Refunded via the same processor

We cannot process refunds to a different payment method than the one used for purchase.

3.3 Account Access

Upon refund approval:

• Your subscription will be immediately canceled
• Access to paid features will be revoked
• You can continue using the Free plan (if available)
• Your data will be retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted

4. Special Cases

4.1 Technical Issues

If you experienced technical problems that prevented you from using the service:

• Contact us immediately with details of the issue
• We will attempt to resolve the problem first
• If unresolved, refunds may be granted beyond the 14-day window

4.2 Accidental Charges

If you were charged accidentally or without authorization:

• We will investigate and issue a refund if warranted

4.3 Ambassador Plan Lock-In

For Ambassador Plan subscribers who locked in the $10/month price:

• 14-day refund applies to your first payment only
• If you cancel and later re-subscribe, the locked-in price is not guaranteed
• Consider this carefully before requesting a refund

5. Cancellations vs. Refunds

5.1 Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

• No refund for the current billing period
• Access continues until the end of the paid period
• No future charges after cancellation

5.2 Refund vs. Cancellation

Refund (Initial Payment Only): Get your first payment back if requested within 14 days of subscribing. Access is immediately revoked.

Cancellation (Renewal Payments): No refund, but keep access until the end of your current billing period. Stop future charges.

Example: If you've been subscribed for 2 months and want to cancel, you can cancel but cannot get a refund. The 14-day refund window only applies to your very first payment.

6. Pro-Rated Refunds

We do not offer pro-rated refunds for:

• Unused time remaining in your subscription
• Partial month usage
• Downgrading from a higher plan to a lower plan

The 14-day money-back guarantee applies only to the full refund of your initial purchase.

7. Chargebacks

We prefer to work directly with you to resolve any payment issues. If you file a chargeback with your bank or credit card company:

• Your account will be immediately suspended
• We will provide evidence of service delivery to your bank
• Chargeback fees may be applied to your account
• Future access to Brutalytics may be denied

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

However: Changes to this policy will not affect refund requests for purchases made before the policy change.
